Being away in England for so long has made me miss the taste of sushi SO much. I love that stuff. Can't get enough of it. JN took us to this restaurant (isushi) on Broadway and when I saw an option with strawberries on it, I had to get it. It might seem strange but I quite like the taste and texture of the soft fruit with the chewiness of the rice. Another one of my favorites is with mango or papaya... mmm I'm hungry now xxx

This is usually my phrase when a group of friends and I try to self take a photo. You all know what I mean ;) I've never actually had a MySpace account... Not too sure why. Anyway, I don't usually like taking MySpace shots of myself because I feel too vain! So please excuse them. On this particular day however, I was feeling especially happy and wanted to document it. The first 2 are test shots but the last one is the real me. You know when you can't stop smiling about something? Yeah... cheesy but true xxx

I've wanted a hat for quite some time now. The obsession started after seeing the cute boater ones that Chanel presented on the runway. I found the perfect one in California with a not so perfect price. So upsetting. After searching high and low I've found one that fits my checklist for a good hat: 1)Price? 2)Color? 3)Material? 4)And most importantly, is it big enough to fit/sit perfectly on my massive head! The only problem is that it's from Aritzia, meaning that you'll probably see the same hat on numerous heads all around Canada. GR8 for the business, not great for me. I find that certain things start to lose their appeal once it becomes TOO mainstream. Anyway, imma keep wearing mine because I love it sooo!

When I went to go buy this book all I could find was the movie cover edition! I usually like buying the original book cover and this time was no exception. I always lose my place when reading and I don't like to dog-ear the pages so a bookmark is a must. Often time I don't see the point of an actual 'bookmark' so I just use random things such as cards, receipts, the fortune from my cookies, anything! In this case it's a Chill Winston business card. I love it there. So... dare I say, chill? xxx

This was my take on Holly Golightly for Halloween. I attempted to imitate the classic look from the movie and the hardest part was the hair! It took a long time and NUMEROUS bobby pins to secure that updo but I was v pleased seeing as how I usually don't like having my hair up... I feel more vulnerable when it is. I'm weird right? Anyway, I watched the movie several times for research (SUCH a loser, I know) and although there are many beautiful scenes and details throughout the movie (i.e. her tassle earplugs, putting on lipstick with the mailbox mirror, her cute mannerisms, keeping her shoes in her fridge, her impeccable style, etc.) my favorite scene is the one pictured above. I just love everything! The vibrant color of the dress, the soft effects of the pillow feathers, and the open door bringing in light despite it being a tragic scene of the movie it just goes to show there's beauty even in the ugliest of times xxx
