Apparently I have an inability to keep my head still in low light situations, says Stevy. And in the few moments stationary, I was either on my phone or fawning over the displays at Chloé. I'm blogging to you from Hong Kong & thought these Christmas lights display we shot in LA on Melrose were appropriate for this festive time of year... Merry Christmas loves!!

Wintertime in LA calls upon this current season Zara sweater that I wore in the post below as well as a nice big fluffy jacket to justify having your bare legs out to brave the night air. Post dinner and pre gig, Stevy had time to walk the streets of Hollywood with me in search of a viable blog post backdrop. Here I am looking cold & coy in front of the wood panelled walls of the Hollywood Sound Studio off N Cahuenga. Outfit details include this new-to-me Wang skirt that I got off eBay in all its mud coloured crocodile corseted glory and hey my nail polish matches! It's nice when things work out like that. The thing to remember with leather skirts/shorts/pants anything is longevity. So although one good leather piece might take a huge chunk out of your wallet at that one moment, if the piece in question is going to be worn so many times that the cost-per-wear is down to like, $0.80 - it is worth it. Proof of this is seen in my leather Zara pumps! Purchased years ago and worn 99% of the time I need heels. True story.

Finally a post that properly surmises the weather in most parts of the world given that it's now December and we're all breaking into our advent calendars with gusto. Depicted here is an outfit worn through the back woods of my old highschool where we'd have to take brisk morning runs through for PE class. Ah, youth. Obviously I wasn't running that day but given the terrain, my worn out boots were called for. The amount of cropped tops I own with absurdly long sleeves is getting a little out of hand but I can't seem to stop. This one I spotted while in NY during Fashion Week and it has proven to be a very useful staple. Seen here layered over what I can only describe as a fashionable take on a bulletproof bib that gave my stomach a little more coverage from the chilly winter air. This tweed boucle skirt has been in my closet for years although oddly enough this is the first time it has made a digital presence on my blog. And one last thing, a hurray to parents who had impeccable style & clothes to pass along to their offspring. Way to go.
