Shot amongst the Whistler, BC woods in Murrin Lake, Porteau Cove, and Scandinave Spa by Steve Pyne

A lot of hair fussing in this one. Sorry, not sorry because it was so super windy to the point where I would be carried away if I jumped. I'm wearing only like, 7 pieces here so I'm gonna embed the details in the text. I took Steve up here for his birthday and am so glad I got to explore Whistler with him. Wore this beautifully simple A to the Z pullover by Eleven Paris for Intermix x Ceizer with an old leather skirt by Alexander Wang. Paired with buckled Topshop boots because cute. We stopped at Murrin Lake on the way up and almost didn't want to leave for I felt the woodland fairies calling me to stay and be one with the tall trees and mossy rocks. Cheesy I know but I fantasize like this all the time. Next stop was the Scandinave Spa! And omg what a spa it was. See my full experience right here. All that was worn here was a robe and Suboo's Rise and Fall bikini. We stayed there all day and I was so psyched to leave at nightfall because there's a beauty to things in the dark. Shadows, silhouettes, and shapes are more vibrant plus owls were hooting so yay. Slept so comfortably that night and the next day I wanted to take as much bed with me as possible so I just rolled into this Acne pajama-ish shirt that's half serious half sexy and wholly comfortable. BLK DNM leather pants because brr cold mornings. Topped it off with my dad's old scarf and I was stomping around Whistler Village and getting mesmerized by the fallen Ents at Porteau Cove before making our way back to Vancouver. I'll be back to see you again when the snow falls Whistler!

Anonymous art done right is always a lovely thing especially when it's done in a simple yet bold manner. Here in Vancouver a couple of days before the snowstorm hit, unknown artists hung up bright red umbrellas down at Spanish Banks in celebration of our constantly rainy city. I greatly dislike rain but I must admit the concept created a very cute photo spot. Spencer and I bounced around everywhere trying to get clear shots of the installation all the while weaving in and out of joggers' paths. Worn here was my first Acne Studios piece that I recently purchased from fellow Canadians, Jonathan + Olivia! The spinal back detail and sheer panels coupled with the opaque one in front really got me excited. So much so that I'm almost considering version white as well. Remainder of outfit kept neutral with my murky mud coloured Wang skirt and stark white slip ons.

Hello lovers! Hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day weekend filled with a saccharine amount of sweets. Here's an upload from LA, spent at a slice of Moroccan heaven in the middle of Hollywood. With its keyhole shaped entrance and gold monolithic double doors, Acabar only gets more beautiful and ornate on the inside. Outfit colour scheme involved black on black on black, spiced with a little bit of gold. Things that helped me bring this to life included stealing Stevy's jacket, carefully curated jewelry, my Alexander Wang bib top, and a pair of old jeans by Twenty8Twelve. The triple zipper threat on the sides of the jeans are super fun to play with although they do get a little catawampus from time to time. I love how they allow me to decide how much of a flare vs. a straight leg I should have depending on what mood I'm in. Options, people.

Is everyone in Vancouver prepared for the looming snowstorm that's said to be approaching? I certainly am not. Nor do I welcome it as I prefer to wear as little layers as possible along with shoes that don't require such thick, wooly socks that a snowshoe might. These photos were taken on Chinese New Year weekend when my city was going through a couple warmer days where we were getting absolutely beautiful sunsets prompting even the shyest of photographers to pull out their iPhones to snap a quick picture. Myself included. Worn here is my newly favourite jacket with the most peculiar of textures by Alexander Wang, along with my beautiful thick, silk top by Lorick NY that recently resurfaced into my wardrobe. I adore the sharp chartreuse yellow juxtaposed with the deep blue navy on the underside of the sash. The top and jacket are so overtly pretty that I de-beautified them with my sister's old pair of rugged jeans that are currently held together by only a few sinews of thread. Bad news for me as these jeans are the only piece of denim I own - in the pants department anyway. Slipped on my black pumps and voilà, I was ready for CNY dinner!
