Tilly's crochet crop top, Pencey a-line skirt, All Saints full fringe purse, Jeffrey Campbell 'Night Walk' negative heels ]

Photos by Stevy Pyne

Trotting around Nolita in my surprisingly comfortable negative heels in an effort to get to the French/Moroccan avocado toast heaven that is Café Gitane. I kid you not, I have recreated their eponymous dish multiple times since my visit there for a long brunch. More pictures on that later. Outfit of choice included a barely threaded together crop top that I bought at an outlet mall in LA, my repeat offender skirt that I've grown much too reliant on, and this old, dug up All Saints purse bought from my days in England. With several uses of it, I'm reminded of why I put it back in its dust bag in the first place with its cumbersome fringe that's the length of my hair, which basically forces me to wear it crossbody so the strands don't get entangled in my strut. Although crossbody wear does ward off snatch and run burglers. Silver lining.

[ vintage jacket, H&M gold choker, Zara netted dress, Valentino purse, Sandro 'Atlantide' espadrilles ]

Photos by Stevy Pyne

Flipping back and forth between Bryant Park and the beautiful NY public library on a particularly humid day in the Big Apple. I love New York for its perfect cityscape backgrounds at any angle and although my heart still lies in LA, I must say that this particular East Coast city is sneaking its way into 2nd place. Now, about the outfit... Well I bought this macramé fisherman's net/dress from my last trip to HK as a means of wearing something that would allow me to escape the extreme humidity there. Turns out it came in handy in New York for a few days of sweltering similarity. I laid the dress over a simple black bra & biker shorts to keep things slim and still show some skin. The espadrilles were a no brainer as I've been wearing them to the point of slipper status as they're THAT dreamily comfortable. My vintage jacket from Berlin in case of cold shoulders, my studded Valentino to keep in theme with the studs on the jacket, and a gold choker to round things off!

Hope all my Canadian friends are having a wonderful Thanksgiving!

[ Bec & Bridge top and skirt, Chloé clutch, Chanel heels ]

Photos by Stevy Pyne

NYFW ended several weeks ago but let's face it, fashion's always relevant to us bloggers. With that being said, here's a mini play by play of the hours leading up to and during the Bec & Bridge trunkshow held at Owen boutique in the Meatpacking District. My lovely friend Andie helped me dress the part by allowing me to sift through her beautiful selection at her showroom. I was immediately drawn to this skirt with its hard hitting juxtaposition from its innocent baby pink hue & tough croc/pebble-like material all held together with the help of a staple gun. Carpentry tools trying to rear its head in the fashion world is something I am so okay with. Super comfortable crochet top to keep things nonchalant and it just so happened that my clutch had the same pastel palette to my skirt. If you've not checked out the Aussie label yet, I urge you to do so now: Bec & Bridge.
What else have you got to do on a Wednesday night?

Special thanks to Phillip for hosting the event at your paper bag filled boutique. Kisses!
