Turning 21 is a pretty big deal. JN is the last in our group to hit that mark so we decided to take her to Guu (she'd never been before) to let her experience a Japanese izakaya. This type of Japanese restaurant is like a pub; loud, casual, rowdy, and exciting. The food is amazing and it has been rightfully dubbed the slogan "Guu is guu'd". I frequent the Guu on Robson Street more so than the one in Gastown which is why I was SO happy to try this new dessert. It's called the hot stone sweets and it's basically made up of french baguette and custard served in a searing hot stone bowl with a HUGE dollop of genuine coconut ice cream. IT. WAS. A-MAZING. I dare you to tell me I'm wrong xxx

Apparently everything I currently want is of a 'cable knit' variety. Or anything that will keep me warm whilst adding a bit of kookiness (see hat above). And then there's that dress... You can't tell in the Polaroid but its got a longer hem at the back. I think that's what got me... xxx

Apologies for the lack of posting. My laptop has been down and I nearly went through a meltdown when I thought it was long gone but alas my brother has saved the day! These photos were taken at the PNE and Playland. The girls and I mostly went for the food? Is that... bad? If you look closely I have a bag of doughnuts with me in every photo. Whether I be clutching them or stuffing them in my bag. Oh dear... On another note, the last photo is one of MANY you will come across in which my friends have dubbed my 'signature' pose. I don't like photos on my own. I never know what to do... xxx

I've been friends with my 3 girls for... numerous years and we decided to commemorate our friendship the other day by buying each of us a charm necklace. LAME, I know. But kinda cute too no? After all, we're just little girls at heart. Anyway, everytime we're waiting for one of our appointments at Dona Lucia we stumble into this cute, little boutique next door. Wishlist I think it's called? If you're in the neighbourhood you should definitely check it out! They have these great homeware stuff and beautiful local designer jewelry. Then afterwards head to Hoshi Sushi in the other direction and be sure to order the gomae roll & the snow white roll... MMM YUM. Heck, you'll probably see me there!
