Wow I really need to come up with better ways to show my outfits... and WHAT is going on with my hair in the first photo?! Oh dear... The first outfit was worn to have hot chocolate and s'mores at Max Brenner's. I felt like I belonged in Alice in Wonderland. Asian style. The last couple of shots were taken at The Hurricane Club where SP and I had one of the best dinners.... ever. Upscale Polynesian food and copious amounts of alcohol before moving on to a birthday party at The Hudson xxx

There's actually only one Soho shot in this so called Soho post... The rest were around NoLita and Union Square. HAD to take a shot of the Basquiat//Warhol mural located outside of The Quality Mending Company. Also known as the location where we took photos in hats, bought a diaper pin, and perused the wondrous items ALL in the time span of us waiting for a table at Cafe Habana where we went on to have the best grilled corn. Ever. HK is pretty relentless in not waiting in lines but... we still did. ;) SP and I then went on to Soho where Opening Ceremony and Topshop had to be visited. I need my fix man. Random shots of various parts of NY before finally getting to Max Brenner's. GO. And get the s'mores. And the hot chocolate. In a hug mug. Enough said. xxx

My first time going to NY... It has been a dream for a while and I'm still in shock that I was ACTUALLY there. SP and I stayed at the Grace Hotel right smack dab in the centre of Times Square. Tourist central! I stood at the centre of it all. Wading with my camera in hand into the sea of people hustling and bustling all around me. The energy and buzz was infectious. Apologies for the obligatory first-timer-in-NY Times Square photos... I don't even have an outfit shot! Perhaps you can get an idea of what I was wearing through the shots of clothing. One from the contents of my suitcase. The other of translucent undergarments from my stop at Forever 21. Went there first. Obviously... Dinner was at French Roast. Wine was had. This NEVER happens for me, I just cannot get into it!? And then there's me holding a glass of red trying to look classy while simultaneously feeling like a fraud because everyone can see that I am CLEARLY not a wine connoisseur... Oh well, at least the soup was good xxx
