white.

I'm really feeling white this season. Not just any blah white, rather a glaringly neon white. If there has never been such a term before I am coining it right now. I think my love affair with the colour began after seeing Kristin Reiter's iPhone case cleverly named Snow White and appropriately donned with a mirror screen sheen. It's always nice to be called the fairest of them all. Plus you'll need a mirror to straighten up your Karl collar every now and then. 


With more summer festivals coming up, pack your belongings into Delsey's diamond angled Karat case and make a statement with some Hunter wellies that look like they've been dunked into a can of White Out. Adorn wrists with Givenchy's Obsedia cuff and match the touch of gold with Defy's rabbit skull ring. 


I first fell in lust with Rachel Comey's Ply top at Aritzia Base in Vancouver years ago and was even more stoked when I found out it came in white with all its sheery/cutout goodness. There seems to be a pattern with my Polyvore sets that never seem to address the issue of bottoms. And that obviously didn't change with this one. Creatures of habit I guess. Maybe I'll take a note from My Little Pony and just go all au natural. There's just something about its stark white canvas that I'm living for right now.

Today in Vancouver it was -7 degrees Celsius. RIDIC. The cold was actually biting at me and my little hands definitely did NOT appreciate being in a not-so-warm-but-ever-so-stylish silk pair of gloves. The other pair I've got are a little too big for me though... perhaps I could go on a mission to attempt (key word being 'attempt') to make them smaller somehow? Hmm... I believe this would mean unstitching the whole thing and sewing it back smaller? No clue. Seeing as how I'd probably fail miserably at this task (and don't want to harm my beautiful pair of Lorick driving gloves) I'll end up wearing tight bracelets on each wrist as a means of securing those babies down. ANYWAY, I've rounded up some lovely pairs all of which include either perforated leather or ribbed cuffs or... both. And for a dash of cuteness there's always Kate Spade xxx

P.S. Not too sure what warmth the Mila and LV options are going to give... Heck who am I kidding. Everyone knows they both purely exist for aesthetic purposes. I guess (in reference to the Mila's) I find it interesting for your hand to look like you're always holding a gun?

This week I'm feeling everything asymmetrical. From hair to garments to makeup to that SICK Rick Owens oyster colored skirt that could also double as a loincloth (at least the Sykes one offers more coverage)... Lusting over the Topshop version with the lingering tail to the soft and feminine Dolly Pearl dress in a magnificent mustard color you'll start to feel like anything symmetrical is just so boring! xxx

1) Oh the amount as to how much I want those Iris van Herpen x United Nude heels is inexplicable. They're just so sexy aren't they?!
2) The moment I saw this skirt I began lusting after it. The perfect pleating and the fact that it's in a 'Forest Green'. Don't you love it when items have more descriptive colors?
3) The obligatory aviator/shearling/winter-jacket-of-the-season photo. In a deep chocolate brown. Yummy
4) How cute is this bag? I've always loved Miu Miu. From the bows, to the foldover zip closure, to the KEWL wool plaiding (is that a word? I doubt it...)

OH. So I have exciting news. I'm going back to London in a month for a couple of weeks and wanted to know where YOU recommend xxx

How AMAZING are these? The first photo looks like they were made for Lady Gaga herself. I've been collecting photos and references of things I want to buy for my future house/apartment and this gnome-stealing decor is just... well, for lack of a better word, adorable. And who can go wrong with a little leather and lace. Extremely tough and delicate simultaneously? Yes please. And I wouldn't say no to the hauntingly beautiful pearl headpiece. Oh, happy Halloween everyone! I'm v excited at the prospect of seeing what costumes everyone has in store for this year. Apparently Lady Gaga, Avatar's and... Snooki (am I the only one who doesn't watch Jersey Shore?) are popular choices. I love it when people fully commit to their costumes. Do it right or don't do it at all... no? xxx
